Framingham Public Schools eight elementary schools, three middle schools, and Framingham High School with the Thayer Campus enjoy a low student: teacher ratio and an award-winning high school broadcasting program.
The elementary schools have specialized foci and include a two-way bilingual school, Multiple Intelligences School, Global Studies School, and a school focusing on the Literary Arts. Framingham High School has a richly diverse student body with about 10% of students speaking a non-English first language and coming from across the globe. Its students have enjoyed success in academic, athletic, and creative disciplines. The Eugene Thayer Campus offers a smaller, nurturing program to best insure the success of students at risk of dropping out.

Framingham is also home to a golf oddity; the 14 hole Millwood Farms golf course.

Framingham maintains Keefe indoor pool, the Loring Skating Arena, tennis courts, beaches, playgrounds, and ball fields for the enjoyment of residents.

Callahan State Park is a recreational gem in Framingham providing miles of walking trails. The park meanders through forest and fields. Providing an escape for mountain bikers, walkers, and dog owners this state park is a true community resource. The park is also an excellent location to cross country ski, sled, and snow shoe in winter.
The Commute from Framingham
Transportation options include regional bus service and MBTA commuter rail service to Boston and Worcester. Its location on Routes 9 and 90 make highway access a breeze.
