Sudbury Schools & Education
Sudbury supports four elementary schools, a central middle school, and Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School. The Curtis Middle School gained a new state of the art building in 2000 and is well regarded for its Theatre Troop. 65 Boston students enroll here each year through the METCO program.
Sudbury also has a number of private school options including the Willow Hill School, a coeducational school for students with learning challenges in grades 6-12. It has a 1:4 teacher/student ratio. The Corwin-Russell School serves 11-19 year olds with untapped potential. The Apple Valley Montessori School and private schools for the youngest set are also available.

Sudbury has great offerings for every age starting with toddler playgrounds, moving up to Parks & Rec programming from Jedi-Training to Geo-caching to the Sudbury Adventure Program for middle schoolers. Many of Sudbury's restaurants will be found along Route 20 and offer an eclectic mix. You'll find the classic Longfellow's Wayside Inn and contemporary American bullfinchs mixed with the modern Fugakyu Cafe. Oishii too, Sierra's Mexican restaurant, Paani Indian cuisine, and a number of pizza and coffee joints round out the offerings.
For major shopping consider Boston, Route 9, and Burlington, but first try the local Bearly Read Books, Mango Tree Artisans, Marjories, Aragon Art, TJMaxx, the Rugged Bear, and Cloud Nine Toys. Children's clothing, book, and toy options are easy to find here.
Sudbury Community, Culture, Recreation
The Piper Farm Conservation Area is a crucial piece of a corridor between the Great Meadows Wildlife Refuge and Assabet Wildlife Refuge. All provide trails for recreation as well as a wildlife corridor. Additionally, look for ice skating at Upper Featherland Park in the winter, ball fields and tennis courts for summer use, and the year round Atkinson Pool.
Sudbury Parks & Rec offers a varied and comprehensive program of activities and maintains the town's fields, meadows, Haskell Recreation Area, and ball courts. Nobscot Scout reservation is in heavy use in the summer. The Goodnow Library offers extensive online resources.
The Commute from Sudbury
Travel a few miles to Route 90 or 128 to begin your commute. The median commute time is 32 minutes. The MBTA commuter rail stops in nearby Concord. Travelling into the city will often require a congested trip along the scenic Boston Post Road – it is slow in the morning, but moves along!
