Weston Schools & Education

Weston's superb school system is cream of the crop in the Commonwealth. Its three elementary schools, Field, Country, and Woodland, feed into a central middle school and high school, all focusing on cooperative learning, the writing process, and technology. At a time when so many districts have cut back, Weston Public Schools are still able to offer Spanish starting in first grade and enjoy visiting authors, artists, and musicians. Weston High School offers AP courses in ten subject areas.

Weston is the home of Regis College, a Catholic College with two schools--the School of Liberal Arts, Education and Social Services & the School of Nursing, Science, and Health Professions. It serves approximately 1500 students.

Private School options include: The Meadowbrook School, a coeducational independent day school covering junior kindergarten to eighth grade; The Cambridge School of Weston day and boarding school for grades 9-12; The Rivers School coeducational college prep day school serving grades 6-12 that will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2015; and the Gifford School, a coeducational day school providing a specialized educational and clinical program.
